Internet banking is an online banking service provided by Vietcombank, enabling users to conduct financial transactions securely and swiftly over the internet. Upon registration, users can access the VCB - eB@nking system to perform functions such as account information inquiry, online bill payment, money transfer, and setting up additional utilities.
Currently, you can also utilize the VCB - eB@nking service to transfer money from Vietcombank to accounts within the same system or other Vietcombank system accounts quickly and accurately.
How to transfer money with Vietcombank on computer
Instead of going to the bank counter or Vietcombank ATM to transfer money in the traditional way, nowadays, you can also transfer money with Vietcombank on your computer connected to the internet.
Prerequisites: To be able to transfer money online, you first need to register for Vietcombank internet banking. (If you haven't registered yet, you can bring your ID card to the Vietcombank counter to be guided through the registration process by bank staff)
After registration, you can log in to Vietcombank's electronic banking system using the provided username and password and follow the steps below
* How to transfer money using Vietcombank system on computer
Step 1: Select 'transfer within Vietcombank' under 'transfer' or 'quick access' section
Step 2: Choose transfer method (instant transfer/future date transfer/periodic transfer), select source account, enter recipient account number, enter amount, transfer description, select payer, and press 'confirm'
Step 3: Review transaction information, choose 'OTP delivery method' (via SMS, via SmartOTP app), press 'confirm'
Step 4: Enter verification code, press 'confirm' to complete the transaction process
Note: For transferring money to recipients within Vietcombank system, after entering recipient's account number, VCB -iB@nking system will automatically verify and display recipient's name. If the system displays the wrong recipient's name, double-check the recipient's account number entered. Approximately 1 minute after the transfer order is created, the recipient's account at Vietcombank will receive the money
* Transfer money outside Vietcombank system on computer
Step 1: Select 'transfer to other banks' under 'transfer' or under 'quick access' section
Step 2: Choose transaction type (transfer via account/quick transfer via card/quick transfer via account), select transfer method, choose source account, enter recipient information (Recipient's account number, recipient's name, recipient's bank), enter transaction details (amount, transfer description,...), press confirm
Step 3: Review recipient information, transaction details, choose 'OTP delivery method', press 'confirm'
Step 4: Enter OTP to authenticate transaction, press 'confirm' to complete the transfer process
Note: Depending on the transaction type you choose, the transfer time from Vietcombank to recipient banks will vary. If using regular account transfer service, transfer time usually ranges from a few hours to a few days (in case of transfers made over the weekend). If using quick transfer via account, via card, the recipient's account will receive the money within approximately 2-3 minutes after successful transaction order creation
In addition to transferring money on the computer as mentioned above, you can also transfer money with Vietcombank on your phone through the 'Vietcombank' or 'bankplus' apps. With just a few simple steps on your mobile phone, your money transfer action will be executed without taking much time or incurring traditional transfer fees.
