Last weekend, my parents took me to the zoo. There were various animals like deer, giraffes, tigers, elephants, monkeys, cranes, and more. However, the most impressive were the massive, chubby brown bears.
Before, I had seen bears a lot on TV or in books and stories. My initial impression of them was of size, strength, agility, and a bit of intimidation. However, seeing them in real life, they appeared quite different. The bears in the zoo looked quite gentle. They had thick brown or black fur, large bodies with sturdy legs. Bear paws were sizable, featuring long, sharp black claws, essential tools for catching fish or digging. Their heads resembled dogs with long snouts and erect ears. Their black eyes, wide mouths with many sharp teeth. The bear's tail was round, incredibly cute.
On TV, bears seemed very agile, especially when hunting. However, in the zoo, they moved quite slowly, leisurely. Some even leaned against tree trunks, enjoying the cool breeze. Particularly, a few chubby bear cubs were lively, constantly running and jumping around. They joyfully played with each other, occasionally teasing the larger bears. During meals, bears used their claws to grip the prey, their sharp teeth biting each piece decisively. Witnessing that scene, me and the other kids couldn't help but be amazed.
Concluding the journey, I captured numerous beautiful photos. This is undoubtedly an unforgettable memory for me. Hopefully, in the future, I will have the chance to admire those mighty bears many more times.
