Everything has two sides, and so does Facebook. Besides providing many benefits, such as making friends, chatting, networking, and learning, Facebook also brings nuisances, leading to neglect of studies or even falling victim to spam messages and scams. If you want to dedicate some time to your studies or work without Facebook interruptions, you might consider temporarily locking your Facebook account.

I. Important Considerations Before Temporarily Locking Your Facebook Account
For permanent lock, you won't reopen Facebook. However, temporary lock is different. Specifically:

- Even with temporary FB lock, Messenger functions normally.

- Your account unlocks when you log in; check the latest 2022 Facebook Login Guide for reference.
- If you lock both Messenger and Facebook, logging into Messenger reopens your FB account.
