Traveling to Danang by Air
Flying is the fastest and most convenient way to reach Danang, trusted by most tourists. From almost every province nationwide, you can fly to Danang in less than 2 hours for a round-trip ticket price ranging from 1,000,000 VND to 4,000,000 VND.
Prices for flight tickets to Danang can vary depending on the airline, route, check-in time, and booking period. Therefore, to book affordable flight tickets and have flexibility with your schedule, it's advisable to book early and keep an eye out for promotional programs offered by airlines.
Transportation between Danang and Hue
The distance from Danang to Hue is approximately 100km, and there are various means of transportation available, such as motorbikes, buses, taxis, Limousines, trains, etc.
The transportation option I chose is a Limousine with ticket prices ranging from 140,000 VND to 180,000 VND. The advantage of this mode of transportation is its comfort, convenience, punctuality, and no need to pick up passengers along the way. With reasonable costs, it's an ideal way to travel.

I was very impressed with the modern yet familiar room space: predominantly wooden furniture combined with white-painted walls, creating a bright ambiance. Our first stop on the second day is the Sun World Ba Na Hills Amusement Park.
To enjoy Ba Na Hills, you need to purchase cable car tickets, which include admission to various entertainment activities. The cable car ticket prices are 750,000 VND for adults and 600,000 VND for children (1m - 1m40).

Day three: Exploring the royal tombs system in Hue: Tomb of Tu Duc - Tomb of Minh Mang - Tomb of Khai Dinh
In Hue, there is a majestic royal tomb system belonging to the Nguyen Dynasty. We chose to visit three areas: the Tomb of Tu Duc, the Tomb of Minh Mang, and the Tomb of Khai Dinh.

Tu Duc Tomb is considered the most beautiful among the tombs of the Nguyen dynasty emperors.

Perched on Cam Ke Mountain, the tomb complex of Emperor Minh Mang not only embodies the solemnity of grand palaces and majestic castles but also carries a hint of romance with surrounding lush mountains and azure waters. The architectural structures within the tomb area are symmetrically arranged along the 700-meter Honor Road. Being a person of Confucian upbringing, deeply understanding the principles of Confucianism, the architectural palette of the tomb reflects a profound Confucian ideology, vividly portraying the character and personality of Emperor Minh Mang.

Khai Dinh Tomb - a masterpiece of tomb architecture
Lăng Khải Định stands as a masterpiece of architecture among the 7 imperial tombs of the Nguyen dynasty, breaking entirely from the architectural norms of previous royal tombs. Constructed and completed over 11 years by the most talented artisans, the architecture of Khải Định Tomb continues to astonish observers with its exquisite artistic features. Built using the most modern materials of the time such as iron, steel, cement, and Ardoise imported from France, the three main chambers of the Palace of Eminent Favor are adorned with intricately crafted bas-reliefs made from porcelain and glass imported from China and Japan. Every minute detail contributes to the grandeur and splendor of the tomb, embodying invaluable historical, cultural, and artistic significance.
On the fourth day: Thiên Mụ Pagoda - Imperial City Huế
On our final day, we visited Thiên Mụ Pagoda and the Imperial City of Huế.
The Thiên Mụ Pagoda, built in 1601, is the oldest pagoda in Huế and serves as the spiritual heart of the former imperial capital. Its iconic feature is the towering 7-story Phước Duyên Tower. Having stood for centuries, the pagoda has witnessed the illustrious history of the Nguyen dynasty, preserving artifacts such as stone steles, bronze bells, ornamental pillars, couplets, and statues.

Ngọ Môn Gate - a priceless historical relic of the ancient Hue Citadel
Imperial City Huế is part of the Complex of Huế Monuments, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site. Today, many parts of this heritage site have been abandoned, with only a few notable structures remaining, such as:
- Ngọ Môn Gate: The entrance gate to the Imperial City. This structure has been remarkably preserved, becoming a priceless ancient architectural gem of the Hue Citadel.
- Thái Hòa Palace and the Great Court: Where diplomatic receptions and important court ceremonies took place.

Based on my travel experience in Da Nang, here are some must-try dishes when visiting this vibrant city:
