Prompt: Summary of 'Robinson Crusoe'
Essay
From a young age, Robinson has been an adventurous soul, yearning to explore new lands without fear of danger. At the age of 19, he embarked on a journey to London with a friend, only for their ship to be wrecked near Yacmao. Despite pleas from family and friends, he continued his adventurous pursuits, facing numerous trials along the way: from being enslaved to shipwrecks. The major turning point came when he embarked on a trading voyage to Africa with 14 others, only for the ship to meet disaster, leaving Robinson as the sole survivor stranded on a desert island. He adapted to life alone, surviving by hunting, farming, and crafting his shelter and boat. After 28 years on the island, Robinson finally reintegrated into society, marrying, having children, and living a normal life until his final days.
