Summer is here, and it's time for single ladies to explore! Check out these 10 fabulous destinations perfect for the adventurous solo traveler.
Côn Đảo, Vũng Tàu
Known as the destination once visited by power couple Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie during their trip to Vietnam, Côn Đảo needs no introduction. For travel enthusiasts, Côn Đảo is a must-visit destination, with its pristine beauty and well-preserved environment. Despite the emergence of numerous resorts and accommodations, Côn Đảo has managed to retain its charm over the years.

While in Côn Đảo, pay your respects at Hàng Dương cemetery by lighting candles for the fallen heroes at midnight... But fear not, the warm glow of golden lights and the scent of incense will quickly dispel any sense of fear, replaced instead by a deep sense of national pride amidst the vast expanse of land and sky. Additionally, explore the beautiful Đầm Trầu beach and the intriguing Bảy Cạnh island. Delving into Côn Đảo's history is also a must during your stay.
Bảo Lộc
When mentioning Lâm Đồng, most people immediately think of the city of thousands of flowers, Đà Lạt. However, they often overlook another vibrant, beautiful, and youthful city nestled in the mountains - Bảo Lộc. Just a 4-hour bus ride from Saigon, Bảo Lộc welcomes you with its cool, tranquil mountain air. Don't forget to visit attractions like Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda, Damb'ri Waterfall, and Tâm Châu Tea Hill when in Bảo Lộc.

Tà Năng – Phan Dũng
The trekking route cutting through three provinces - Lâm Đồng, Ninh Thuận, and Bình Thuận - always captivates adventure enthusiasts. Starting from Tà Năng or Đa Quyn commune, Đức Trọng district, Lâm Đồng province, it takes about 3 days and 2 nights to cover nearly 60 kilometers through forests, mountain passes, streams, descending from 1,100 meters to 500 meters above sea level.

The most impressive scenery includes vast grassy hills dotted with lush green pine trees, with clouds drifting lazily in the distance, creating a majestic yet serene landscape akin to a painting. The journey ends at Phan Dũng commune, where you can catch a motorbike taxi to Liên Hương intersection (Tuy Phong, Bình Thuận), then take a coach back to Ho Chi Minh City or other provinces.
Bà Lụa Archipelago, Kiên Giang
Located in the marine area of Kiên Lương district, Kiên Giang province, the Bà Lụa archipelago is renowned for its pristine, poetic, and breathtaking beauty. With over 40 islands, it's nearly impossible for anyone to explore them all. However, many travelers consider this archipelago as 'Little Halong Bay' of the South due to its mild winds and calm waves.

Among the beautiful islands of Bà Lụa, mention must be made of Đầm Dương island, Đước island, and Giếng island. These islands boast beautiful beaches with clear blue water, fine white sand, maintaining their pristine and clean beauty. These three islands are not far apart and form a 'lagoon' in between, which is beloved by tourists. If desired, visitors can easily swim or walk from one island to another. Along the way, you'll be delighted by the colorful schools of fish swimming under your feet.

Witnessing the activities of fishermen, hundreds of fishing boats bobbing on the sea, or the enchanting sunset and sunrise scenes, all evoke a sense of excitement and wonder. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of fresh seafood such as fish, shrimp, crab, squid, snails, and clams.
Windmill Fields, Bạc Liêu
As a province situated in the Mekong Delta region, Bạc Liêu is often overlooked by tourists. Many know Bạc Liêu primarily due to the folklore surrounding the 'Bạc Liêu Gentleman,' but the presence of the largest windmill field in Vietnam here makes it worth considering a visit sooner rather than later.

From Bạc Liêu city, take Cao Văn Lầu street towards the sea. In Biển Đông A hamlet, Vĩnh Trạch Đông commune lies the Wind Power Plant. Although it's about 20km from the city center, you can see the turbine towers rotating like giant pinwheels even from several kilometers away. This is a favorite photography spot for many young people visiting Bạc Liêu.
Lý Sơn Island, Quảng Ngãi
In recent years, Lý Sơn has emerged as a popular destination for backpackers, but for the people of Quảng Ngãi and the central region in general, Lý Sơn has held historical significance for a long time. Accommodations on Lý Sơn are limited, so some locals offer homestay services, or you can camp overnight on Little Island without incurring additional costs for food and lodging.

Lý Sơn features landmarks such as the Tò Vò Gate, Quan Âm Pagoda, Hang Pagoda, Câu Cave, and the national flagpole atop Thới Lới peak, along with several other temples and shrines. Its specialty, Lý Sơn garlic, sets it apart from other islands, and there's also a variety of seafood like trumpet snails, king crabs, and devil fish. Most beautiful beaches are concentrated on Little Island, so when visiting Lý Sơn, don't miss out on Little Island.
Đầm Môn Bay, Khánh Hòa
Located in Vân Phong Bay, Đầm Môn Peninsula lies in Vạn Thạnh commune, Vạn Ninh district, Khánh Hòa province, about 80 km north of Nha Trang city via National Highway 1A. Đầm Môn Sea is exceptionally calm and clean, with clear visibility to the bottom due to the protection from Hòn Gốm and Hòn Lớn peninsulas, resulting in minimal waves throughout the year.

Visitors to Đầm Môn can explore the fishing village and experience local life amidst stunning scenery, making it an excellent spot for amateur or professional photographers. Other activities at Đầm Môn include exploring the ocean with snorkeling services or renting boats to visit large and small islands, discovering the beauty of each island, or simply immersing yourself in a pristine beach under the sparkling evening sun.
Vĩnh Hy Bay, Ninh Thuận
Following provincial highway 702, you'll traverse spectacular and picturesque mountain passes, with roads leading you right beside the sea, where it seems like you could touch the abundant waves. At times, these roads will take you deep into rocky cliffs and verdant mountains, only to pleasantly surprise you with views of mountainous villages and vast salt fields... Vĩnh Hy reveals itself like a watercolor painting, captivating you from afar.

Visiting Vĩnh Hy, aside from glass-bottom boat rides to explore coral reefs, tourists can frolic and bask on Bà Điên Beach, go diving, enjoy delicious seafood at local eateries, or experience adrenaline-pumping sports like surfing.
Múa Cave, Ninh Bình
Múa Cave lies at the foot of Múa Mountain, within the eco-tourism complex in Khê Đầu Hạ hamlet, Ninh Xuân commune, Hoa Lư district, Ninh Bình province. Upon reaching Múa Cave, you'll test your endurance by climbing 486 stone steps to the mountaintop, where you can behold the beauty of the Tam Cốc area with its endless green rice fields.

This area is surrounded by rugged mountains, providing both beauty and strategic advantages for defending the imperial citadel against foreign invaders. In this land lies a mountain and a Múa Cave – a name originating from folklore. Legend has it that in ancient times, King Trần moved the capital to Hoa Lư and often visited this cave to listen to the enchanting melodies of maidens dancing and singing, hence the name Múa Cave.

In the heart of the monument lies a large artificial lake with ancient green moss-covered tranquility. The space is incredibly spacious and beautiful with shady green trees. The white stone steps lead up to the mountaintop like a path to a fairyland.

At the mountain peak stands a statue of Quan Thế Âm Bodhisattva looking down upon the ancient capital land. With its peaceful demeanor and panoramic view of the vast land of Hoa Lư, many people find themselves overwhelmed with admiration. From National Highway 1A heading towards Ninh Bình city, you'll turn left into the scenic area of Tràng An or Bích Động and follow provincial road 491C to reach Múa Cave.
Tà Xùa, Sơn La
Located in Bắc Yên district, Sơn La province, the Tà Xùa mountain range rises majestically, forming the natural boundary between Yên Bái and Sơn La provinces, with three peaks creating an immensely grand spectacle. The imposing Tà Xùa range is formed by three peaks with characteristics like the 'turtle's head' and the 'dinosaur's backbone' trail in Công village, Trạm Tấu district, Yên Bái province. Conquering this range requires about 3 days and 2 nights for those with moderate fitness, while those with good physical condition and experience may take 2 days and 1 night.

This place attracts many adventurous young people passionate about conquering challenging peaks. However, not everyone is fortunate enough to witness the moment when clouds blanket the foothills. The best time to hunt for clouds at Tà Xùa is during the winter months, from December to March each year, when the chances of encountering valley clouds are higher.
