The lineups below are proving to be extremely 'out of meta' in the current Summoner's Rift Showdown.
Academy
There's a rather amusing fact that the Academy class has many powerful units, dominant core champions, but when assembled, this composition becomes extremely weak. Names like Yone, Lux, Katarina are all chess pieces with the ability to deal incredibly massive damage. Meanwhile, Yuumi is considered the strongest unit in the Summoner's Rift Showdown as it can bring a lot of power regardless of the lineup. However, this cannot compensate for the somewhat 'weak' effect of the Academy class in the current meta.

In essence, for Academy units to become powerful and deal a lot of damage, they need to cast their skills continuously and buff each other's attack stats. However, at levels 4-6 of Academy units, you rarely can fit in the high-level Scholar units into your lineup. Moreover, the attack stats that the Academy effect buffs each other are not significantly large, so it doesn't make a difference in damage. Perhaps Riot needs to reconsider how to buff these stats to make the Academy lineup more popular.
Empire
In a twist of fate, the Empire's lineup revolving around Samira emerged as one of the major casualties of patch 11.24. Rolling a 3-star Samira that easily secured a top 4 spot in patch 11.23 is now a much tougher feat in the latest update. Being a single-target damage dealer, Samira struggles to take down resilient lineups featuring champions like Sion and Galio.

This vulnerability also exposes Samira to challenges against agile champions or those well-protected. The composition almost guarantees a defeat when facing Kai'Sa players or teams built around Lux and Jhin in the backline. As a result, Samira-centric Empire compositions are losing favor among players due to being heavily countered by various team compositions. Riot should consider enhancing Samira's damage output to make this composition more viable in the new patch.
Gang - Assassin
In reality, the Assassin class is far from weak and can be considered a decent counter to many team compositions in the current meta. However, it is not advisable to pair Assassins with the Gang class in the current meta, as it proves to be less effective compared to other races. The reason is that at higher levels, the benefits provided by the Gang class are relatively low, leading to this race falling short towards the end of the match.

If Riot intends to adjust the Gang class, it would be best to increase the stats of this class based on activation milestones and provide the entire team with those stats (7-unit milestone). This would address the Gang class's late-game struggles. Additionally, key units like Shaco and Akali would benefit from increased durability, making them more resilient with significantly enhanced defensive capabilities.
