Yearning to capture pictures with adorable, charming sheep but hesitant to travel all the way to Ninh Thuận? Right here in Vũng Tàu, there's an incredibly 'hot' sheep meadow in Suối Nghệ commune – Châu Đức district – Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu.
Suối Nghệ Sheep Meadow – The Go-To for Trendy Photos in Vũng Tàu
This sheep meadow is approximately 70 km away from Saigon, situated on the Phước Tân – Hội Bài road, passing through Suối Nghệ commune – Châu Đức district. The Vũng Tàu sheep meadow evolved from a barren, sun-scorched land. However, since some households began allowing sheep to graze, the meadow has transformed into a beloved tourist spot for the youth and couples taking wedding photos.

In this region, there are about 3 flocks of sheep, each containing around 150 sheep. However, the two flocks that attract the most photo sessions are the flock owned by sister Liên and the flock owned by brother Thanh.

Initially, sheep-farming households primarily raised sheep for meat and wool. However, after tourists started coming for photos and sightseeing, the locals turned it into a tourist service. Especially to allure visitors, the sheep owner purchased a few horses to graze together, adding more enticing highlights to tourists' photos.

Photo shooting fee here ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 VND per session, depending on whether it's a wedding photoshoot or a souvenir picture.

To capture desired shots, it's advisable for tourists to seek assistance from the sheep herders in luring the sheep. Avoid venturing into the middle of the flock to pose for photos, as the sheep may get scared and run away.

If you want to take photos with the sheep, the ideal time is from 8 - 10 am and 3 - 4 pm.
