When working with Word on your computer, numbering pages is a frequent task, isn't it? Conventional numbering methods can be time-consuming and unattractive. So in this article, I'll share how to number pages symmetrically in Word.
Effortless Symmetrical Page Numbering in Word
Step 1: Firstly, open the Word file you want to number the pages > Go to the Layout tab, then click on the downward arrow icon in the Page Setup group.

Step 2: The Page Setup dialog will appear > Select Layout and then choose Different odd and even > Press OK.

Step 3: Next, select the first page > Insert > Page Number > Bottom of Page > Choose Plain Number 1.

Step 4: Then click on page 2 > Page Number > Bottom of Page > Select Plain Number 3. The result will be all your pages numbered symmetrically, odd numbers on the left and even numbers on the right.

So I've shared the method for numbering pages symmetrically in Word. Thank you everyone for taking the time to read my post. If you find it helpful, please give me a like, a share, and don't forget to leave a comment below.
