Air purifiers models from Xiaomi such as Mi 2S, Mi 2H, Mi 3H, and onwards are equipped with Wi-Fi and can connect to the Mi Home app (an app that connects with Xiaomi devices), making it more convenient for users. To control the Xiaomi air purifier with your phone, follow these steps:
Step 1: Install the Mi Home app on your phone
The Mi Home app is now available on both Android and iOS operating systems, allowing users to use it on all types of smartphones conveniently.

Download the Mi Home app on iOS and Android
● Download the Mi Home app from Google Play Store (Android operating system) here
● Download the Mi Home app from the Apple Store (iOS operating system) here
Important Note: In the region section, if your air purifier is international, select Vietnam; if it's domestic, select China.
Step 2: Create an account or log in to Mi Home
To create a Xiaomi user account, you need to pay attention to the following:

Create Mi Home Account
● You need to create a Xiaomi account using an email. This is a familiar registration method, quick and easy to remember. In case you don't have or don't want to use an email, you can still use your phone number to register.
● If your Xiaomi air purifier is domestic Chinese, when registering an account, you must select the territory as “Mainland China”. If it's international, you should choose Vietnam or Asia.
Important Note: In the phone number section, you must add the Vietnam country code “+84”, along with your entire phone number including the first “0” digit (e.g., +840123456789). This method is unstable and sometimes your phone number may be notified as invalid! Retry multiple times or use a different phone number.
Step 3: Connect Xiaomi Air Purifier to Mi Home
In the Mi Home app, tap the '+' icon at the top right of the screen to add a new device. Mi Home will automatically find the air purifier nearby, and you select the name of the air purifier you want to connect to.

Step 4: Connect to Wi-Fi
In the Router Selection section, choose your home Wi-Fi name > Enter your Wi-Fi password > The air purifier will begin to connect to your phone, this process will take a few minutes.

Connect to Wi-Fi
This step is extremely important as the Xiaomi air purifier needs to access your home Wi-Fi network to enable remote device control.
Note: Some reasons why the air purifier may not connect include:
● The air purifier and the phone are too far apart; ensure both devices are kept close to each other.
● The air purifier is already connected to another phone; you can disconnect it by simultaneously pressing the two buttons as shown below to reset the device.
