Discover an unbeatable way to launder clothes using white vinegar that you cannot ignore.
1. Achieve Remarkable Freshness by Washing Clothes with White Vinegar
Below is a method for cleaning clothes with white vinegar that you must not overlook.
1. Use white vinegar to clean red wine stains
If you've ever spilled red wine on your clothes, you know how challenging it is to remove the stain. However, vinegar is an effective method for you.
Pour about half a liter of white vinegar into a pot and heat it up. Secure the fabric of the clothes tightly over a bowl or bucket, with the stain facing down. Next, pour about half of the hot vinegar onto the fabric at the location of the stain. It's easier if someone holds the clothes while you pour the vinegar. Wash the clothes with cold water and then soak for 20 minutes. Then wash the clothes with cold water again and put them in the washing machine.
2. Use White Vinegar as Fabric Softener
When washing delicate fabrics, athletic wear, and towels, it's best not to use any fabric softener. However, if you still want softer towels, delicate fabrics, and athletic wear, add vinegar to the laundry. A few drops of vinegar not only eliminate sweat odor from clothes but also act as a fabric softener. You don't have to worry about clothes smelling like vinegar. Once the clothes are dry, the scent will disappear.
3. Eliminate Unpleasant Odors
Leaving clothes wet in the washing machine for a while is not uncommon. If you forget to take clothes out of the washing machine, you'll know they can have an unpleasant odor. To get rid of that unpleasant smell, wash the clothes again, but that doesn't always help. That's why you should add 100 ml of vinegar to the clothes and wash them at the highest temperature they can withstand. This way, the unpleasant smell will truly disappear.
4. Washing Jeans Properly
When you've just purchased a new pair of jeans, the denim can be quite stiff. To remedy this, wash the jeans with regular detergent along with a splash of vinegar. Washing jeans with vinegar makes the fabric much softer, and the jeans will retain their color much better.
5. Removing Chewing Gum from Clothes
It's easy to remove chewing gum from clothes with vinegar. Place the gum-stuck garment in the freezer for 30 minutes. Try to remove as much gum as possible with a spoon. Heat 250 ml of vinegar and place the garment on a table. Dip an old, clean toothbrush into the vinegar and use it to scrub off any remaining gum on the clothes.
Repeat this until the gum is completely gone. Pour the remaining vinegar onto the fabric to ensure the gum is gone. Then, wash the clothes as you normally would.
