DK lacks significant confidence, especially from Doinb, for their journey in this year's Worlds.
At the World Championship 2022, teams from the LPL and LCK regions are naturally the most highly regarded. Even before the tournament, many opinions predicted that the championship clash would be between the top two regions in the world of League of Legends. Among them, Gen.G Esports, Royal Never Give Up, JD Gaming, and TOP Esports are considered even more superior.

However, numerous surprises unfolded during the Group Stage. Specifically, all four representatives of LPL faced considerable difficulties. Despite being favored over LCK representatives, EDward Gaming suffered two defeats against T1. Meanwhile, RNG lost their top spot after consecutive defeats to Gen.G, and JDG almost faced elimination if player 369 didn't shine. TES had an even more 'disastrous' exit, returning home after the Group Stage.

LCK representatives, though considered weaker, are performing exceptionally well. T1 secured victories in both encounters with the reigning champions of Worlds 2021, EDG. The 3rd seed of LCK, DWG KIA, also posed challenges for JDG. The LCK champion, Gen.G, defeated RNG to claim the top spot. The final representative, DRX, played a part in making TES the first LPL team to be eliminated in Worlds 2022.

Nevertheless, not all LCK teams are highly regarded. Recently, Doinb, the 'LPL spokesperson,' made new statements about the teams at Worlds 2022. Mid laner of LNG Esports, DK, is considered the weakest representative of LCK in this tournament by Doinb. Doinb caused even more shock by stating: 'If DK faces T1, Faker and his teammates could win against DK even playing with their feet.'.

According to community information, this assessment might stem from the training outcomes of teams known to Doinb. Furthermore, in Worlds 2022, the 3rd-seeded team from the LCK hasn't truly impressed. While ShowMaker and Canyon have somewhat regained form, Nuguri remains a concern. In his matches, Nuguri hasn't showcased his best form, especially evident in the tie-breaker against JDG. Despite wielding a high-damage champion like Irelia, Nuguri made little impact while DK suffered defeat.

DK has reached the Quarterfinals, and their opponent will be Gen.G - the reigning champion of the LCK Summer 2022. This is a familiar opponent to DK, having defeated ShowMaker and teammates on several occasions. However, there's every reason to believe that DK still has a chance for victory. Surely, both teams will have to give their utmost effort because with just one misstep, an entire season could end abruptly.
