Seemingly drifting into oblivion for older iPhone and iPad devices when Apple introduces users to the new iOS 13 platform with numerous features that are not only beautiful but also useful.

Most recently, Apple has unexpectedly released a new update on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 2.
iOS users can quickly navigate to Settings > General > Software Update > Download & Install for details on software updates. Here's how devices will be upgraded:

Note: For iPads, only models supporting 3G/4G (Cellular) will receive this update, while WiFi models won't.
According to Apple's documentation, starting from 11/2019, iPhone and iPad models released prior to 2012 will require this update for stable and accurate GPS functionality.
Additionally, if you don't update to the new iOS version by November 3rd, your device may experience inaccurate GPS positioning and date/time-based features like syncing with iCloud and Email may not work properly.
