SwiftKey adds Google search tool for Android

Last year, Microsoft enhanced the SwiftKey keyboard app for Android by introducing the Bing search tool, enabling users to search directly on Bing without leaving their current app. In a recent update of SwiftKey for Android, Microsoft has now included a new Google search tool for its keyboard app.

Previously limited to Bing search options, the latest update of SwiftKey for Android now includes the Google search tool.

To activate Google Search in SwiftKey, first open the keyboard app settings on your device, then access the Settings menu. Here, find and select the search tool option and choose Google to start searching for information online directly from SwiftKey without leaving the app. Simply enter the plus sign to open the keyboard toolbar, then select the search icon.

Currently, the latest SwiftKey update for Android is limited to specific regions and is not yet available on the Google Play Store.
