How to switch to Viettel 4G SIM
Step 1: To switch to Viettel 4G SIM, first we open the dialer on the phone and enter the code *098*4# then press the call button. This action will allow you to connect to the Viettel 4G SIM switching service.
Note: The SIM card that enters this code is still the old SIM card in use.
Step 2: A feedback message from the Viettel system will appear, you choose number 2 to proceed with switching to Viettel 4G SIM.
Step 3: Now you flip the card containing the new blank SIM card you just bought, at the back there is a Serial number consisting of 19 digits
enter that number into the phone through the steps below and then click Send to send it back to the system.
Additional note: You should Copy the Serial number into the phone so that later we can copy it quickly, no need to retype the Serial number.
Step 4: The system will ask you to confirm once again the switching to Viettel 4G SIM, re-enter the Serial number you copied earlier and perform the send operation again.
Step 5: When the screen displays a notification requesting confirmation to switch to Viettel 4G SIM, you just need to enter the verification code as 1 then press Send to finish.
Step 6: You wait for a few minutes, there will be a notification of completing the switch to Viettel 4G SIM from the system and now you just need to remove the current SIM and insert the new blank SIM. You should note that as long as the blank SIM is activated as your number, the old SIM will no longer be usable and all old data will be lost.
