How to Convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius on Common Air Conditioner Remotes
1. For Electrolux, Daikin Air Conditioners
Simultaneously press both temperature increase and decrease buttons on the air conditioner remote until the screen switches to Celsius.
2. For Panasonic Air Conditioners
Press and hold the Down Arrow button in the Timer section on the remote for 10 seconds.
3. For LG Air Conditioners
For the 18-button remote: Press and hold the Temp Room button.
For the 9-button remote: Remove the remote control battery for 12 hours, then reinsert it.
4. For TCL Air Conditioners
Step 5: Adjust the fan speed to Medium setting.
Step 6: Press the Sleep button on the remote control 8 times. Do this within 8 seconds.
Step 7: After 4 to 7 seconds, the display will switch to Celsius.
Note: If the temperature unit doesn't switch after that, restart from step 1 and try again. The entire process must be completed within 3 minutes from powering on.
5. For Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Samsung & Sharp air conditioners
Remove and reinsert the control unit battery.
6. For Aqua & Sanyo air conditioners
Simultaneously press the Mode button and the temperature decrease button.
