Your interactions on computers heavily rely on browsers and websites. If you use multiple devices and want to synchronize your browser data across them, here's how to sync Bookmarks, Extensions, and browser data across devices on all major browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge (Internet Explorer), Safari, and Opera.
Syncing Bookmarks, Extensions, and browser data across multiple devices
Google Chrome
Since its early days, Chrome browser has been equipped with sync features by Google. When installing the browser on a new computer, you'll be guided to log in, and that's all you need to do: the browser will automatically sync browsing history, bookmarks, usernames and passwords, custom tools, and settings across all installations. Additionally, Chrome will load extensions from the Chrome Web Store online. However, note that extension settings are not synchronized, so you'll have to go through the extension settings page if you customize these extensions to any extent.
To change specific synced items in Chrome, click the menu icon at the top right corner of the browser window (the three dots in a row), select Settings, then click the Sync option below your Google account name.
On the next window, you can choose which parts of browsing history to sync: Apps (similar to extensions), autofill data, bookmarks, extensions, browsing history, saved passwords, other settings, themes and wallpapers (wallpapers only for Chrome OS), open tabs, and Google Payments data. Toggle Sync everything to ON or OFF to enable or disable syncing all options.
Chrome's syncing capability extends to Chromebook, as well as Android phones and tablets, though it doesn't support extensions or custom search tools.

Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer
Syncing tools are disabled on Microsoft's new browser - Microsoft Edge integrated into Windows 10, which is the only operating system to have Microsoft Edge integrated among all Windows operating systems to date.

To sync bookmarks, browsing history, and other settings, make sure you're signed in to Windows 10 with your Microsoft account, not a Local account. Then click the Windows button icon, type sync into the search box, and select Sync your settings.
Here you can toggle the Sync settings options for items you want to sync to ON to synchronize those items; items you don't select won't be synced. Additionally, you can sync Internet Explorer browser settings here.
Firefox Browser
Newer versions of Firefox browser integrate browser sync feature similar to Chrome, allowing you to move settings and extensions across Firefox installations on computers, laptops, phones, and tablets on any platform. From the main browser window, click Settings at the top right corner (the three horizontal lines icon), select Sign in to Sync.
Create a Firefox account if you haven't already, or if you do, sign in with that account. On the displayed page, you can choose parts of the browser to sync between devices, computers: open tabs, bookmarks, add-ons (or extensions), saved passwords, browsing history, and other settings.
Finally, click Save Settings to finish.

Opera
Opera is the oldest browser among all browsers, and the sync feature integrated into Opera browser is also the oldest.
To sync the latest browser version, click the Menu button at the top left corner, select Synchronize.
If you don't see the Synchronize option, log in to your account and then follow the steps. Click Create my account if you don't have an account, or if you do, simply log in to your Opera account.
Click on Choose what to synchronize. On the Choose what to synchronize window, you can toggle syncing of bookmarks, browsing history, open tabs, passwords, and browser settings (excluding extensions). Additionally, you can choose to sync only password data or all browser data uploaded to Opera's sync servers.
Safari
On macOS (and iOS devices), Safari's settings, bookmarks, and other synced items are managed by Apple's iCloud program. To activate browser syncing, click on the System Preferences button (sawtooth icon) on the dock, select Internet Accounts. Click on iCloud and set up browser syncing if this feature hasn't been activated in the left column.
Ensure that you have selected Safari, and bookmarks, Safari's reading list, browsing history, and other browser settings will be available on all Mac and iGadgets you've signed in with your Apple account. Usernames and browser passwords are managed by the Keychain option, which you can toggle on or off for each item.
