Apple utilizes iTunes for managing and exporting files from computers to iOS devices. However, iTunes isn't particularly user-friendly as it requires numerous steps. Moreover, you can't directly copy photos to the Camera Roll on iPhone or iPad, which can be frustrating when you need to delete photos and videos but have to connect to a computer to do so. To simplify syncing photos and videos between iOS and computers, we introduce the WiFi Album Free for iOS app. Its standout feature is its ability to effortlessly copy photos from computers to iOS devices via Wi-Fi
Required tools:
- iOS devices: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch
- WiFi Album Free for iOS app. Readers can download and install the WiFi Album Free for iOS app for free from the following link
- Computer: PC, Laptop
- Device connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the PC, Laptop
Execution Steps:
Step 1: Firstly, enable Wi-Fi and launch WiFi Album Free for iOS from the home screen. The interface of WiFi Album Free for iOS looks like this
Step 2: Open a web browser on your computer and enter the address provided by WiFi Album Free for iOS. For example, mine is http://192.168.1.103:8080/
Choose Camera Roll or Photo Library for photo synchronization. Here, I'll choose Camera Roll because when you copy photos or videos from the computer to the Camera Roll, you can immediately delete them on iOS
Step 3: Here, there are two options for you
Download All: Download all photos and videos to the computer. All of them will be downloaded in a compressed file format
Start Upload Photos: Here, you can easily copy photos from the computer to the Camera Roll. Choose Select Photos > browse to your photo and video files to proceed with the photo upload to iOS
Step 4: After successfully uploading the files, select Back to return to the program interface.
You will see the program displaying the photos and videos you just downloaded to the device.
Now, your device has the photos and videos you just downloaded, especially they are in the Camera Roll section for easy management.
Note: During the usage of WiFi Album Free for iOS to connect iOS photo storage with a computer, you need to enable the WiFi Album Free for iOS program. Otherwise, your web browser won't connect to WiFi Album Free for iOS.
