Faker's T1 remains the undisputed leader, but a certain name in this ranking leaves many fans dissatisfied.
On the morning of 01/03 (Vietnam time), international media announced the new weekly rankings of the global League of Legends scene. These rankings are based solely on the performance of teams in the 4 Major leagues and consider various criteria, including form, achievements, and performance in each match. However, due to the multitude of criteria, the results on these rankings often fail to satisfy the League of Legends community.

T1 is clearly at the top of the rankings, which comes as no surprise. Faker and his teammates are the only group to maintain an undefeated streak since the Spring season began across all 4 Major regions. Additionally, T1 has showcased extremely impressive performances, defeating Gen.G Esports (first round) and DWG KIA (first round and return) - teams considered direct competitors to T1 on the journey to clinch the LCK Spring 2022 championship.

Following T1 are two teams from the LPL: Victory Five (2nd place) and Weibo Gaming (3rd place). This has raised some questions within the League of Legends community, especially among LPL fans. However, overall, despite WBG defeating V5, the gameplay of SofM and his famous teammates is often described as heart-stopping. WBG may win, but they can also suffer defeat in a very inconsistent manner.

Furthermore, even in a BO3 series, SofM and his teammates can exhibit different performances in each game. It's not without reason that WBG is called 'Game 2 Giveaway Esports' or 'Dragonless Gaming'. Meanwhile, V5 has shown much more stability on many occasions, and it's fair to say that their loss to WBG was mainly due to V5 members not having superhero moments like TheShy or SofM, Huanfeng... on the WBG side.

Gen.G, EDward Gaming, and Bilibili Gaming hold positions 4, 5, and 6 respectively in the standings, which isn't surprising given their performances relative to the top 3 teams in both the LCK and LPL leagues. However, EDG and BLG's positions might change if they don't improve soon. Specifically, EDG suffered consecutive losses against V5 and Top Esports, while BLG also fell to TES in the match on the afternoon of 01/03 (Vietnam time).
Debate erupts regarding the standings of Royal Never Give Up and particularly Fnatic. Specifically, LPL fans question why, with the same 7-3 record, LNG Esports ranks above while RNG is present, and Fnatic appears despite Rogue, ranked above them, being absent, causing significant controversy. Some fans argue that Fnatic is the only undeserving name in this ranking.

However, overall, LNG had a very poor final week of February with losses in both matches (against WBG and V5). Since this is a weekly ranking, the absence of 'The Chosen Unicorn' might not be condemned to such an extent. Meanwhile, TES, with recent good form defeating renowned names like FunPlus Phoenix, JD Gaming, and even EDG, has emerged in the rankings at 10th position.

Currently, this ranking remains highly contentious. As mentioned earlier, this ranking is based on various criteria, undoubtedly leading to results that may not please all fans. As for the mentioned teams, they will have to strive harder to maintain their records or improve their form if they wish to avoid leaving empty-handed at the end of the Spring 2022 season.
