The loss of T1 to DK is seen as more of a reason to celebrate than to worry.
During Week 6 of the LCK Summer 2023 group stage, T1 succumbed to Dplus KIA (DK). This outcome wasn't unexpected given T1's current absence of their captain and team leader, Faker. Despite DK's roster of seasoned veterans, both teams' performance sparked extensive post-match discussions.

Following the match, DK players left their own fans dissatisfied, if not outright disappointed. However, for T1 supporters, despite the defeat, the players undeniably delivered a noteworthy performance. Across both games, T1 displayed two distinct playstyles. According to many spectators, T1 could have emerged victorious were it not for some minor errors from Poby or drafting mishaps.

The most notable difference in the first game between T1 and DK compared to previous losses was the proactive approach of T1 players. Within the first two minutes of the opening game, T1's bot lane duo, Keria and Gumayusi, engaged in a successful skirmish against DK's Deft - Bible. Notably, this was a win for T1, even though Gumayusi didn't secure the kill. Additionally, mid-game, Zeus secured a solo kill against Rumble. These instances underscored the evident confidence of T1 players entering the match.

Even when facing a formidable Renekton, T1 demonstrated their ability to isolate and defeat the champion. Of course, credit must be given to Gumayusi, who demonstrated his value after several lackluster performances due to T1's losses and Faker's absence.

Keria himself acknowledges the team's considerable effort and improvement compared to previous weeks of competition. Undoubtedly, Faker's presence remains paramount. However, T1 is also demonstrating adaptability, and for the remaining teams, T1 undoubtedly remains a formidable force if they maintain the same level of focus as they did in the recent match against DK.
