(Motherland) - Despite missing out on victory at MSI 2022, Gumayusi has recognized numerous issues.
It's likely that many fans, especially T1 supporters, can't forget MSI 2022. In the international League of Legends (LoL) tournament scene, T1 entered as the flawless champions of LCK Spring 2022. Faker and his teammates boasted an unbeaten record and were largely considered the top contenders for the MSI 2022 championship by the LoL community.

However, the bot lane duo, Gumayusi and Keria, who were in good form for T1 in LCK Spring, failed to perform as expected. Comparatively, they even seemed less impressive than the Vietnamese representatives Shogun - Taki. This was one of the significant factors contributing to T1's defeat against Royal Never Give Up (RNG) in the MSI 2022 finals.

In an interview before the rematch against RNG in the 2022 World Championship Quarterfinals, T1's ADC Gumayusi had the opportunity to reflect on the period from after MSI 2022 to the present. He shared: 'It's been a while since the loss to RNG at MSI 2022, and I've learned a lot from that defeat. Honestly, my confidence has decreased significantly since then. But each of us has trained harder and built up a great team, coordinating smoothly and always bouncing back strongly after each loss. Therefore, I'm very confident in the upcoming matches.'

And Gumayusi didn't disappoint the fans in the recent match against RNG. The 2002-born ADC is one of the standout players for T1. Especially in the second game, Gumayusi didn't even go down once but still emerged as the player with the most takedowns for T1.

Given the outstanding performances of T1 members to date, it can be confidently said that Faker and his teammates are truly the top contenders for the 2022 World Championship. The match against JD Gaming will be extremely challenging, but securing victory would propel Faker further on his quest for the fourth World Championship title in his illustrious career.
