Hot News: Taiwan has revised its regulations on issuing e-visas for Vietnamese tourists. Taiwan is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for Vietnamese tourists, especially the youth. This is not only due to its beautiful scenery, enticing cuisine, and reasonable costs, but also because the visa application process to Taiwan is easier compared to other countries such as Japan, Korea, the US, or Europe.
However, recently, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City has announced changes in the online visa application (e-visa). According to the announcement, starting from 10:00 AM on September 14, 2023, Vietnamese citizens can no longer use Korean and Japanese visas to apply for e-visas to enter Taiwan through the online approval system.
This change has caused concern for Vietnamese tourists, leading many to apply for e-visas overnight to ensure they can travel to Taiwan. However, visas issued before September 14 can still be used normally.
