Upon entering Tam Quoc Chronicles: Tactical Strategy, many players are likely to feel perplexed about how to assemble their generals. They need to choose the best combination of 3 generals to achieve optimal results. Additionally, at the beginning, the number of times one can summon generals is limited, making it impossible to obtain desired or powerful generals. After assembling their team, players of Tam Quoc Chronicles: Tactical Strategy need to consider the tactic alignment. Initially, they must differentiate between the concepts of Battle and Strategy generals, similar to distinguishing between mages and warriors in other games. For Battle generals, Strength points will be relatively higher, while for Strategy generals, Intelligence points will excel. Once players discern this, they can select suitable tactics because the tactics used for these two types of generals differ significantly.
To acquire tactics in Tam Quoc Chronicles: Tactical Strategy, players can visit the Tactics page and click on inheriting tactics in the bottom-right corner. If you have relatively more Battle generals, you can filter tactics for melee damage. If you have more Strategy generals, you can filter tactics for strategic damage.
For instance, for players investing in Guan Bin, whose self-carrying skill increases damage after each basic attack, they can choose a skill that increases the number of basic attacks per turn, such as combo. In this case, pairing with Wen Xin would be quite suitable, or pairing with Quach Hoai to reduce damage received from other teams.
For players with the golden monthly card, receiving Ton Kien and Ton Sach, these two generals are decent in the early game but are considered weak due to average stats. Moreover, Tam Quoc Chronicles: Tactical Strategy has many tactics with the Giao binh khí effect (forbidding basic attacks), making Ton Sach ineffective in combat. If paired with Lu Mong, you can choose Ton Sach: Strength Attack and Unyielding Will, Ton Kien: Counterattack and Divine Beauty, Lu Mong: Armor Breaker and Purification.
