Minute Math is an application designed for preschoolers to familiarize themselves with and perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It is a quite effective math learning support program for children with an intuitive interface, beautiful graphics, ... helping children learn math better without getting bored.
Teaching Kids Math with Minute Math
Step 1: Download and install the latest version of the software: Download Minute Math
Step 2: Launch the software, this is the main interface of Minute Math. First, press Start to begin
Step 3: Enter your name and press Enter
Step 4: Choose the operation you want to practice (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and press OK
Step 5: Choose the range of numbers for calculations:
- Numbers 0 -5: From 0 to 5
- Numbers 0 -10: From 0 to 10
- Numbers 0 -12: From 0 to 12
- Numbers 0 -15: From 0 to 15
- Numbers 0 -20: From 0 to 20
Finally, press OK
Step 6: Set the time limit for each answer (5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 60 seconds). Choose the time based on your child's computational ability. If the answer is not given within the set time --> the default answer is marked as incorrect. Press OK to save the settings
- Press OK to get ready
Arithmetic operations will appear on the program window, children need to input the correct answers and press Enter
After the program ends, a summary board will be provided for children to strive for improvement.
