The following Hextech upgrades have been heavily buffed by Riot in patch 11.24 of Teamfight Tactics.
Chrono Freeze
For those unaware, upgrading Chrono Freeze freezes all non-Mech units for 4 seconds, starting five seconds after the round begins. This upgrade proves to be the ultimate weapon for compositions utilizing Jhin or Orianna as their main carries, thwarting enemy attacks effectively. Moreover, it extends the duration of damage dealt to these units, making it easier to dismantle the opposing team.

In the upcoming patch 11.24 of Teamfight Tactics, this upgrade has been downgraded from Diamond tier to Gold, marking a significant buff for Chrono Freeze. Essentially, the appearance rate of Gold cores is immensely high, allowing for more frequent acquisition of Chrono Freeze upgrades compared to before. This change will undoubtedly bolster the strength of compositions featuring Jhin and Orianna in patch 11.24.
Duet with the Idol
One of the weaknesses of the Idol Tribe is that the upgrade slot has excessively high randomness, which sometimes does not match the composition you are pursuing. Moreover, providing only damage and energy regeneration will make the Idol slot only suitable for main forces. If it appears in the front row, only a few main force units can make use of the Idol slot. It even becomes useless if you use many backline units.

However, in the upcoming version, upgrading the Duo with the Idol will address this issue as units standing in the upgrade slot will gain an additional 500 health. This ensures that even the tanky units standing in the Idol slot will benefit instead of wasting stats as before. Additionally, this extra 500 health makes the backline main forces much sturdier and no longer afraid of being 'burst down'.
The Scholar's Heart
Basically, in the upcoming 11.24 patch, Riot Games still haven't touched the power of the Scholar trait, so compositions revolving around it remain extremely strong. Strategies centered around Lissandra or combined with the Spellweaver will definitely be at the top of the meta in the next patch as Katarina and Sett have been nerfed quite a lot. This is further reinforced by Riot upgrading the Scholar's Heart core by giving players a free Lissandra unit.

Essentially, being a core in the Silver tier, the Scholar's Heart often appears in the first upgrade selection. When owning an additional free Lissandra unit, you can immediately activate this trait, boosting the team's energy quite easily. Moreover, Lissandra's damage-dealing ability is always remarkable, so owning this character for free will help you worry less about damage issues.
