This lineup will focus on continuously casting skills to dominate opponents in Teamfight Tactics instead of trying to quickly deal damage.
Among the champions of Teamfight Tactics season 6.5, Kassadin is one of the most underrated units. Losing the Vanguard trait has made Kassadin quite weak in terms of durability and rarely trusted by players. However, recently, a Challenge player named Akihiro discovered a way to maximize Kassadin's strength in a lineup that goes against the meta, named 6 Scholar.

Basically, this playstyle of the 6 Scholar team will rely on not leveling up early in the game and trying to roll for a 3-star Kassadin. Then, you will aim for the 6 Scholar milestone at the end of the match with the cores of this trait or upgrade Scholar's Heart. With Kassadin buffed by Silco, this unit will perform well in the role of a tank as well as disrupt opponents' abilities due to the energy-gaining effect from its skill.
At the beginning of the match, Akihiro's advice is that you need to buy Kassadin, Brand, and as many Yordle units as possible. Kassadin being the primary tank, needless to say, being able to activate the 3 Yordles milestone early will help players gain a lot of gold and shorten the time to reach the 50 gold milestone. Additionally, owning many 1-gold units also increases your chances of acquiring Kassadin faster than normal rerolls.

Once you have upgraded Kassadin to 3 stars, the next target to 'goldify' should be Syndra. Additionally, Zyra is also a decent option, and you can push both Scholar units to 3 stars if you are lucky enough. The advice is to use all 3 Scholar units in the team as this will increase the appearance rate of the Scholar's Heart cores at the end of stage 3.

As the match progresses, it's essential to add Silco and Viktor to ensure both damage and energy for the team. Simply put, these units are tasked with clearing up the battlefield after others have cast their abilities and continuously repeating this process. Towards the end of the match, Kassadin will endure significantly better when receiving Silco's buff, gaining additional health and crowd control resistance.

In terms of technological core, Scholar's Heart and the cores providing Scholar's Seal are paramount for this lineup. Additionally, damage-boosting cores like Khám Bảo Thạch or Vọng Âm Luden are highly suitable upgrades for the 6 Scholar team. Furthermore, defensive stat upgrades for the backline interact well with this team composition.
Regarding the 'disruption' items, Kassadin requires primarily resilience items that benefit the player. Redemption and Guardian Angel emerge as the equipment combo you should aim for Kassadin. The remaining backbone of this lineup will be Syndra with typical magic items such as Guardian's Gauntlet or occasionally, Rabadon's Deathcap.
