Ezreal is one of the rare 1-cost champions capable of carrying a team effectively in Teamfight Tactics season 7.
Aside from races specifically designed for rerolling like Celestials, Teamfight Tactics season 7 still offers many team compositions operating under this playstyle. Among them, Ezreal is currently emerging as one of the strongest cores with traits - abilities that significantly increase attack speed including Sharpshooters and Storm Dragons. This quickly makes Ezreal a highly sought-after name in reroll compositions in the current meta. So how can you best utilize this unit? Let's find out.

One important note is that in season 7, Ezreal has undergone a slight change in his skill, with Mystic Shot now dealing magic damage and interacting with skill damage stats. Therefore, purely attack speed increasing items are not very useful for Ezreal in season 7. Instead, items that increase magic damage such as Guardian Angel or have the ability to deal magic damage on-hit like Statikk Shiv will be more suitable for Ezreal.
In terms of team composition, you should start with 1-gold champions with good durability alongside Ezreal in the backline. Suitable options include the duo Tahm Kench - Skarner or Leona - Taric. The Protector duo is recommended as you can activate the 3 Protector milestone mid-game by adding Ashe and Karma.

Similar to other reroll team compositions, you won't level up in the early stages of the match. This will allow players at levels 4-5 to have the highest possible appearance rate of 1-cost champions (Ezreal, Leona, Taric, etc.) and upgrade them to 3 stars. You can even 'all-in' gold to search for 3-star Ezreal early to gain an advantage in champion level over opponents.
In addition to the 5 units in the lineup mentioned above, in the late game, it's advisable to add Lee Sin and Shi Oh Yu as early as possible. These two units have extremely effective crowd control and damage-dealing abilities to create openings for the main damage dealers. Furthermore, Shi Oh Yu will help you achieve the 6 Storm Dragons milestone, providing a significant amount of attack speed and healing for the lineup. If you can't find Shi Oh Yu, you can bring in Ornn and Qiyana to activate the 4 Storm Dragons milestone.

Regarding technology cores, the most valuable upgrade for Ezreal is Blue Buff or Ionic Spark. They will provide this unit with an abundance of mana to continuously cast skills and maximize damage. Additionally, you can also choose additional cores to enhance the strength of the Storm Dragon race to make them more resilient. Storm Dragon's Seal is also a good choice to activate the 4-unit milestone without investing in Qiyana.
For itemization, Ezreal reroll has 2 main item paths, relying on Statikk Shiv and Blue Buff. With Statikk Shiv, you'll add Rageblade to take advantage of its high attack speed to create standard area damage. When combining with Blue Buff, two critical strike items including Guardian Angel and Infinity Edge will optimize the damage for Ezreal's skills.
