(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - Despite being strong, the Teamfight Tactics development team decided to rework the Laser Brigade origin.
In the history of Teamfight Tactics Season 8 development, Riot Games has frequently reworked origins, classes, and champions. This typically happens when a champion or origin becomes too weak or strong and requires balancing.
However, this doesn't seem to be the case with the Laser Brigade origin. This origin appeared quite balanced in Teamfight Tactics Season 8 and didn't receive many complaints from players. Nevertheless, Riot Games is reworking the effects of the Laser Brigade in the upcoming 13.2 patch.

Specifically, the new effects of the Laser Brigade will allow unmanned aerial vehicles to consistently attack enemy champions. This damage-dealing ability will have a 0.4-second cooldown, and the UAVs will target the nearest Laser Brigade unit when it is eliminated.

Explaining this decision, Riot Mortdog, the Project Lead for Teamfight Tactics, shared: 'While the Laser Brigade is currently not weak, its mechanics compelled us to make adjustments. The old effect with a 50% activation rate was a mistake, so we decided to remove this randomness. In the upcoming 13.2 patch, the Laser Brigade's UAVs will deal damage more effectively.'.

With these adjustments, teams utilizing 6 or 9 Laser Brigade units in patch 13.2 will become extremely potent. The pure Laser Brigade strategy is likely to surge in strength, paving the way for new team composition possibilities in the upcoming version.
