The best players should avoid relying too heavily on the following tribes - traits to climb ranks in Teamfight Tactics.
Marksmen
Among the tribes - traits focusing on physical damage, Marksmen may be the most heavily affected by Riot's 12.6 update in Teamfight Tactics. Essentially, the damage output of this trait will increase proportionally based on the distance from the target. So when the base damage from attacks is reduced, the loss in output damage (including skills) will be much greater than figures like 5 SMCK, 10 SMCK being nerfed as we've seen in the recent update.

Moreover, with too many champions in the backline (and no self-protection abilities), the Marksmen team composition will be countered too easily by the strong Assassin teams. As a result, since the 12.6 update, Marksmen teams have gradually fallen behind in damage compared to other compositions like Sorcerers, Chemtech, Inventors... themselves. This composition also lacks an effective counter strategy against Assassins, making it increasingly weak and prone to early elimination.
Vanguard
Despite not being directly nerfed, the Forward team is facing an extremely dire situation due to the comprehensive nerf of its mainstay, Irelia. Previously, this lineup could capitalize on Irelia's dominance and Gnar's Idol Square activation to be the primary force. However, post-nerf, players are compelled to play up to 4 Forward and resort to weaker units like Jarvan IV, Rek'Sai, resulting in a diminished overall lineup strength.

Furthermore, Riot's nerf to the activation threshold of the Sentinel tribe has somewhat impacted the strength of the Forward team. This team originally boasted a 'full damage' composition with Irelia, Gnar... and no crowd control effects. To survive, it had to borrow crowd control abilities from the Sentinels. With Riot nerfing this tribe, players are forced to bring in Jayce and face fierce competition from others, making team building even more challenging.
Recycle
In essence, Recycle is designed as a support tribe with the ability to create shields and cheat strength from equipment pieces. However, when Irelia became overly strong in season 6.5, the Recycle lineup with 4 or even 6 units emerged as a dominant force, significantly beefing up this core. However, with Irelia's severe nerf, Recycle has also lost value, with lineups using 4-6 units of this tribe disappearing from the meta.

Naturally, this is a prudent change from Riot's end as Recycle remains a tribe primarily providing support effects. When it becomes overly popular, it indicates a serious imbalance. Riot's nerf has prevented Recycle from falling into that situation, restoring its rightful position as a support tribe.
