2. Writing Guidelines for Party Member Exemplary Registration

2.1. Structure of the Party Member Exemplary Registration

In the Party Member Exemplary Registration template, the following contents must be ensured according to the structure below:

- Information of the Party committee, branch where the Party member is active;
- Name of the registration and the registration year;
- Information of the registered Party member: Full name, date of birth, position, working unit.
- Basis for registration: Resolutions of the Central Committee, Congress resolutions, plans... (as stated in the template).

Details are as follows:

(1) Political Ideology

- Embracing Marxist-Leninist ideology, Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, the Party's reform path, the goals of national independence and socialism;
- Struggling against moral and political decay;
- Setting examples, propagating and defending the Party's principles and State policies.

(2) Ethics, Lifestyle, Conduct

- Fighting against corruption, nepotism, and wastefulness;
- Refusing all forms of gifts and preventing others from exploiting for personal gain;
- Exemplifying simplicity, humility; adopting a practical, approachable demeanor to understand the legitimate aspirations of the people;
- Strictly adhering to Party's regulations and other directives from the Central Executive Committee.

(3) Critique and Self-critique

- Leaders must serve as examples of self-critique and critique to be followed by subordinates.
- Requirements: self-awareness, reflection, honesty, fairness,...; when flaws are identified, they must be acknowledged and plans made for rectification.
- Foster comradery, mutual affection; steadfastly defend what is right, protect the good; resolutely combat any misuse of critique for malicious purposes.

(4) Relations with the People

- Always set an example in fulfilling citizen duties in the place of residence.
- Serve the people with respect, objectivity, fairness, attentiveness to their thoughts, aspirations, and focus on resolving their legitimate interests;
- Proactively engage in dialogue with the people and subordinate officials;
- Struggle to eliminate nepotism, bureaucratic obstruction, and disturbances to the people.

(5) Responsibility in Work

- Maintain a sense of responsibility, dedication to assigned tasks; actively engage in learning, research, and application of scientific and technological knowledge, innovation in work;
- Be creative, dare to think, dare to act, dare to take responsibility; actions must align with words, if promised, it must be done.

- Firmly oppose parochial thinking, factionalism, and opportunistic behaviors for personal interests, 'group interests'.

(6) Organizational Discipline Awareness

- Serve as a model in obeying regulations, assignments, and mobilizations from superiors, from organizations;
- Strictly adhere to the principles of democratic centralism; promote democracy alongside maintaining strict discipline within organizations, agencies, units.

(7) Internal Unity

- Sincerely assist comrades, colleagues; jointly uphold the rightful reputation, dignity of comrades, colleagues; avoid shifting blame, competing for credit, or blaming others;
- Wholeheartedly contribute to building and enhancing internal unity; care for the material, spiritual lives of the masses within the organization, unit;
- Actively participate in building Party organizations, government, and socio-political organizations where one works;
- Combat manifestations of division, factionalism, which undermine internal unity and among the people.
