(Motherland) - TFT players are advised to steer clear of the team compositions below for a more effective climb in rank.
Zed - Deathblade
Boasting the strength of two powerful origins, Deathblade and Exile, Zed emerges as a potent carry. This unit can access the opponent's backline and dispatch them effortlessly thanks to the Exile effect and its massive damage output. However, in Patch 13.14 of TFT, Zed - Deathblade will face substantial nerfs.

Specifically, the Deathblade origin will experience reduced lifesteal and a higher health threshold to activate the damage increase effect. Moreover, Zed himself will undergo reductions in base damage and skill damage. This weakens Zed's ability to eliminate opponents significantly compared to the previous version.
Ionia
The reduction in Zed's power also impacts the Ionia team comp, known for its high damage output and well-equipped champions. Furthermore, the decrease in Jhin's damage in soul form poses challenges for the Ionia team in finishing off opponents. Even Yasuo undergoes a considerable reduction in skill damage in the current Patch 13.14.

It's important to note that the Ionia team comp had already faced a reduction in power when Kai’Sa's energy was increased. In Patch 13.14, Riot further directly reduces the power of key champions in Ionia's team comp, both at the beginning and end of the match. These are necessary changes as Ionia has proven to be too strong in recent times.
Azir - Strategist
Despite Lux's earlier power reduction, the Azir - Strategist team comp remains strong due to the well-rounded offense and defense capabilities of this origin. Simply put, the Strategist origin provides free Iron Solari for the top lane and Power Chalice for the bottom lane. This effect is incredibly potent and makes it challenging for opponents to counter.

In Patch 13.14, Riot will significantly reduce the amount of skill damage that the Strategist origin provides. This will make it challenging for Azir and Lux to quickly deal damage and defeat opponents, unlike in the previous version. Hopefully, these changes will help balance Azir - Strategist instead of making it overly dominant as before.
Conclusion
Having shown excessive strength in the previous patch, team compositions like Zed - Deathblade, Ionia, and Azir - Strategist have all experienced a slight reduction in power in Patch 13.14. Therefore, players should consider overlooking these team compositions for a more effective rank climb.
