Fox News Travel's Travel section has just chosen Thác Bản Giốc, located on the Vietnam-China border, as one of the world's top 7 most majestic waterfalls.
The criterion for Fox News's selection is the impressive and magnificent flow of the waterfall.
Thác Bản Giốc is situated in Đàm Thủy commune, Trùng Khánh district, Cao Bằng province, divided into two sections: the main part lies between the Vietnam-China border, while the secondary part is entirely within Vietnam's territory.
The primary section of the waterfall, when viewed from a distance, appears pristine and untouched, resembling a strip of white silk stretched across the mountains. It is the widest and most beautiful part of Bản Giốc, measuring approximately 100m wide, 70m high, and 60m deep. The border dividing the waterfall at the Vietnam-China border is marked by the Quây Sơn River flowing below.
