With an expansive area of nearly 100 hectares and a hefty investment of around 7,000 billion VND, the Sun Beauty Onsen Thanh Hóa hot spring resort integrates various entertainment, cultural tourism, and healthcare services.
Thanh Hóa is on the brink of unveiling a colossal, high-standard Japanese-style hot spring resort.
On December 28, 2021, the Thanh Hóa Provincial People's Committee and Sun Group Corporation held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sun Beauty Onsen Thanh Hóa hot spring resort in Quảng Yên, Quảng Xương. With a total investment of nearly 7,000 billion VND, this is a pivotal project for Thanh Hóa province, as it strives to become a high-quality tourism center in the region.

According to Japanese experts, the hot mineral water in Quảng Yên is particularly effective in reducing stress and treating chronic skin diseases, digestive disorders, joint ailments, diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis, gout, and more.
Based on the rare values of the hot mineral source and drawing inspiration from the peak period of ancient Japanese culture, the Sun Beauty Onsen Thanh Hóa hot spring resort will recreate a Japanese town with three complexes, offering Thanh Hóa an array of unique tourism products.

The largest scale within the complex is the combination of a Japanese cultural park and resort, which includes the Kaiyu-Shikien Japanese garden complex - a refreshing stroll garden; Japanese cultural park - where visitors can immerse themselves in the most unique cultural and historical periods of Japan, participate in festival activities, enjoy traditional dishes, watch Noh performances - the oldest form of theater art in the Land of the Rising Sun...

An impressive highlight of this complex is the Onsen park with a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment activities along with Onsen bathing services, spa, and special health recovery therapies.
Especially, in this hot spring resort complex, there is a commercial center area providing culinary experiences, exciting tuna cutting shows, and the shophouse area along the main street is a true Japanese-style shopping paradise. The first phases of the project are expected to be completed by 2023.
