With a sprawling area of nearly 100 hectares and an investment of close to 7 trillion VND, the Sun Beauty Onsen Resort in Thanh Hoa offers a blend of entertainment, cultural tourism, and healthcare services.
Thanh Hoa is about to witness the emergence of a deluxe Japanese-inspired hot spring resort complex.
On December 28, 2021, the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and Sun Group conglomerate held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sun Beauty Onsen Resort in Quang Yen, Quang Xuong. With a total investment capital of nearly 7 trillion VND, this project holds significant importance for Thanh Hoa province, paving the way to becoming a high-quality tourism center in the region.

According to Japanese experts, the hot mineral water in Quang Yen is particularly effective in reducing stress and treating chronic skin conditions, digestive disorders, joint ailments, diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis, and gout.
Based on the rare value of hot mineral springs and inspired by the peak period of ancient Japanese culture, the Sun Beauty Onsen Resort in Thanh Hoa will recreate a Japanese town with three complexes, offering a variety of unique tourism products to Thanh Hoa.

The largest section within the complex is the combination of a resort and a Japanese cultural park, featuring attractions such as the Kaiyu-Shikien Japanese garden complex and a cultural park where visitors can immerse themselves in Japan's most unique cultural and historical periods, participate in festival activities, enjoy traditional cuisine, and watch Noh theater performances - the oldest form of theater art in the Land of the Rising Sun.

A standout feature of this complex is the Onsen park offering a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment activities along with Onsen baths, spas, and specialized health recovery treatments.
Notably, this hot spring resort complex also includes a commercial center providing culinary experiences, intriguing tuna cutting shows, and shophouses along the main street serving as a Japanese-style shopping paradise. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by 2023.
