Gin serves as the protagonist in the movie 'Into the Forest of Fireflies’ Light.' He is a wandering spirit in the forest that Hotaru visits every summer. During their acquaintance, they fall in love. In the final battle of Sword Art Online: Alicization, Eugeo merges memories of Alice and his sword to ultimately defeat Quinella. However, the price is high as he suffers severe injuries from the final blow. Slowly, he passes away with a heavily wounded Kirito by his side. Finally, in this last moment, Kirito rediscovers his past memories. He also recalls childhood friendships with Eugeo and Alice. This intensifies the pain of loss upon Eugeo's departure, as Kirito embraces his closest friend. Eugeo vanishes, and Kirito cannot hold back tears of agony.

The cat-and-mouse game between Light Yagami and L in Death Note captivated fans from the start. The suspense of who would take the lead kept fans on the edge of their seats through each episode. The conclusion, coupled with L's sudden demise halfway through, left audiences utterly stunned.
