(Homeland) - After 8 successful seasons, Color Fiesta has solidified its position as an ideal exchange event, connecting comic artists and fans alike.
Color Fiesta is an annual event that brings together comic fans and artists. Up to now, the event has successfully organized 8 seasons, receiving much love from fans and participating artists. Following its success, the 9th season of Color Fiesta took place on August 14th at the Military Zone 7 Sports Arena in Ho Chi Minh City.

With the theme 'The Origins,' the event brought together over 200 artists and content creators with a large following in the comic fan community, such as Zen, Mèo Mốc, Hidari, Gấu Bông Đình May, Dishwasher1910, Orangesleippers, Sở Thú Bốn Chân, and more. Additionally, the event featured the participation of comic publishers like Kim Đồng and anime copyright distributors like MUSE Vietnam. The presence of these entities brought many exciting surprises to the event, from copyright news to limited edition products of popular manga like One Piece.

Drawing from the experience of Color Fiesta season 8, this time the organizers incorporated feedback from participants to choose a spacious and refreshing event space, ensuring the most comfortable experience throughout the packed schedule. The Military Zone 7 Sports Arena was selected as the venue for this event, with the highlight being the large-scale program 'One Piece: We Are One.' The activity, a collaboration between Color Fiesta and Kim Đồng Publishing House, took place in the outdoor area covering 1500m2 and accommodating over 1500 guests.
To promote the spirit of exchange and learning, providing a fresh perspective on comics in general and Japanese comic culture in particular, Color Fiesta season 9 also included an interesting talk show program. The two guests of the program, Phúc Du - the nonsense speaker (former production supervisor & Editor-in-chief at TVM Comics), and Nguyễn Hạo Nam (a collector and currently a Japanese language lecturer at the University of Pedagogy), both shared sincere and unique insights into the long-standing hobby of collecting comic books.

Through insights from our two special guests, event participants learned more about the concept of 'comic collecting,' the advancements in the collecting scene in Vietnam, and some professional tips for preserving their beloved comic collections.

As an integral part of every Color Fiesta season, the cosplay activity stood out in this edition by allowing attendees to freely create costumes with a 'low cost, high quality' spirit. The continuous appearance of costumes in the program surprised the audience with their uniqueness and vibrant embodiment of characters.

In Color Fiesta season 9, the organizers dedicated ample space to booths showcasing exclusive products and souvenirs created by talented artists. The high-quality products received praise for their diverse designs, durable materials, and vivid print colors. Notably, all items sold at the event had clear, genuine copyright commitments from the sellers. The organizers and participating entities' serious adherence to copyright regulations demonstrated a profound respect for the creative art property. This was also an opportunity for fans and artists to meet, exchange their passion for comics, and hear the industry stories from this beloved creative team.

Apart from exchange activities, discussions, and cosplay, Color Fiesta season 9 attracted attendees with a series of gifts and shopping discounts from sponsors and partners such as Wacom - Lê Bảo Minh, Canon Vietnam, and more.
Closing the 9th season of the Color Fiesta exchange event, despite a few imperfect points affecting the participants' experience, the activities were meticulously planned, well-organized, and relatively successful, bringing satisfaction to the fans. We hope that in the future, upcoming event seasons will continue to develop both in scale and quality.
