The Bus Collective introduces the pioneering concept in Southeast Asia, transforming old buses into high-end hotel rooms, opening on 1/12.
The Bus Collective - Premium Hotel Renovated from Vintage Buses
The hotel, formerly comprising 20 buses owned by SBS Transit, the public transport operator in Singapore, spans across a total area of 8,600 m2, located in Changi Village near renowned attractions like Changi Village Hawker Centre, Changi East Boardwalk, and Changi Chapel & Museum.

Currently, The Bus Collective offers 7 room categories with diverse services and amenities. Room rates per night range from 398 SGD. Information on the hotel's website reveals that each room measures 45 m2, accommodating 3 to 4 guests. Some distinctive features of the old buses are retained within the rooms such as the steering wheel, windows, and driver's seats.
Specifically, the Pioneer North room is equipped with handrails in the bathroom area and a shower head to meet the needs of elderly guests. The Hamilton Place room is designed for individuals with disabilities, featuring an external bathroom and a ramp for wheelchair access.

The Bus Collective hotel does not offer typical entertainment activities but instead organizes guided tours. One of them is a bike tour around Pulau Ubin, an island off the coast of Singapore. The tour price is 99 SGD per person, including round-trip ferry service from the mainland to the island. Additionally, tourists can experience other activities such as exploring local culinary culture or kayaking at Changi Sailing Club. Tourists can directly register at the front desk.
