The young stars of Harry Potter found a fascinating way to tackle their studies.
During the early filming stages, the young cast of Harry Potter faced significant pressure in managing their studies alongside their packed shooting schedule. As a result, the crew and parents had to collaborate to help the young actors balance acting and academics.

Rupert Grint shared a unique approach to studying adopted by the young stars of Harry Potter. Instead of having private tutors at home, the young actors spent four hours each day studying directly on set before continuing with their filming scenes. Despite the age difference, the trio studied together, with Grint even praising Emma Watson's intelligence and quick learning despite her young age.
In addition to on-set studies, the Harry Potter students also had to deal with homework. The production team cleverly addressed this by allowing the young stars to... do their homework on set.
This means that in scenes where characters are reading books, in the library, taking tests... the actors were actually doing homework. Audiences inadvertently watched the cast doing homework on screen throughout multiple films without even realizing it.

Surprisingly, the main trio of Harry Potter actors unexpectedly followed educational paths similar to their on-screen characters. While Daniel Radcliffe excelled academically, he didn't particularly enjoy it, thus choosing full-time acting. Similarly, his close friend Ron also abandoned formal education after completing high school. In contrast, Emma Watson not only enjoyed studying but also excelled at it. She earned a bachelor's degree from the prestigious Brown University, then pursued further studies at Oxford University, becoming one of the most academically accomplished stars in Hollywood.
