According to Gen Z understanding, this was intended to ridicule the appearance of this 'black jersey king,' known in the Premier League for his bald head.
This action by the 'clueless dad' in 'Miracle in Cell No. 7' received support from some who were also angered by the referees. Meanwhile, others felt that mocking Anthony Taylor was crude and inappropriate.
After the incident, Ryu Seung Ryong deleted the comment and spoke out, admitting his mistake.
The root cause of everything was referee Anthony Taylor's refusal to award South Korea the final corner kick of the match, which occurred in the 11th minute of injury time. While the added time for the second half of the South Korea vs. Ghana clash was only 10 minutes. Anthony Taylor had his reasons when he blew the final whistle without giving the Asian representatives one final opportunity.
However, this didn't leave the coaching staff and players of South Korea feeling entirely satisfied, especially when they were eager to secure points. South Korea performed well after trailing 2-0 and fought back to level the score 2-2 before conceding a third goal.
