The latest leg in the 2020 Formula One World Championship is the VinFast Vietnam Grand Prix. This event marks Vietnam's presence on the map for hosting major sporting events globally, offering Hanoi and Vietnam at large an opportunity for tourism promotion and development

The official race track is named the Hanoi Circuit, drawing inspiration from Vietnam's millennia-old capital. It is the first F1 track designed by F1 in collaboration with Tilke (Germany), blending a dedicated track with existing streets, featuring up to 3 overtaking points. The F1 track stretches 5,500m with 22 corners, demanding high technical precision


In particular, the main straight along Le Quang Dao - Le Duc Tho, extending 1.6km, is the longest straight in any F1 track, where drivers can reach speeds of up to 335km/h. This promises to be an exciting experience for F1 enthusiasts in Vietnam, witnessing high-speed displays by world-class drivers


Alongside, various sections such as grandstands have commenced construction, a 300m-long Pit building is impressively designed, areas for fans, culinary delights, product showcases, services, and technology are rapidly nearing completion
