This is not just a battle between two teams hailed as having the most balanced and formidable lineups in the LPL Spring 2022, but also a quest to identify which team truly deserves the top spot in the current standings. These could be the matches that seal the fate of both teams in what's dubbed as the 'Super Derby' of the LPL Spring 2022.
TheShy - Ale
TheShy will face off against the young player who is seen as his potential successor in the future. Compared to Bin, Ale resembles more of a 'Top God' in that both of their champion pools are highly diverse. Moreover, in the LNG lineup both past and present, Ale, while not the primary shot caller, holds a rather understated image but stands as one of the decisive factors in the success or failure of the 'Unicorns of Chaozhou'.
As for TheShy, currently, the 'Top God' is somewhat reclaiming the form that once propelled him to the pinnacle with Invictus Gaming. However, it's still unclear whether WBG has fully unleashed TheShy and to what extent his capabilities can reach. Faced with his potential successor, it's highly plausible that the outcome of the top lane matchup could tilt the balance of the game.

If one had to find someone capable enough to compete with SofM at the current moment, within the entirety of LPL, perhaps only two names come to mind: Karsa and Tarzan. However, Karsa's Victory Five has already faltered against SofM's WBG, and now, another 'Jungle Deity' hailing from the LCK will be the next challenger to the 'Great Master'. According to the majority of opinions from the LPL audience, it's highly likely that the outcome of this matchup will determine the success or failure of the battle for the top spot in the LPL Spring 2022 standings.
