The Easiest Way to Log in to Zalo on PC, Phone, and Web

I. Logging into Zalo, chat login Zalo on PC

Preparation:
- Download and install Zalo on your computer here: Download Zalo
- Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone with a camera to scan QR code.

How to register for Zalo

1. Log in to Zalo using your phone number

1.1. Log in to Zalo with your phone number and password

To log in to your Zalo chat account this way, you'll need to remember your phone number, login password, and recall those who have previously contacted you via Zalo without needing to use a supporting smartphone. Here's how to do it:

Procedure: 

Step 1: On your computer, Open Zalo software, then enter your phone number and password for Zalo into the respective fields (Figure 1). Next, enter the verification code and click 'Log in with password' (Figure 2).

Step 2: At this point, Zalo will display a series of accounts, your task is to find 3 Zalo contacts and click on the small circular checkbox next to them (Figure 3). Once you've selected 3 contacts, click 'Reply' (Figure 4). That's it, you've successfully logged into Zalo.

Note: If you forget your login password, click 'Forgot password' immediately upon opening the Zalo software (Figure 5). Then, enter your phone number and click 'Continue' (Figure 6), and follow the system instructions to recover your login password.

1.2. Log in to Zalo without using a password

This scenario applies to those who can't remember their Zalo account password, quite quick and convenient if you have your phone in hand and already logged into Zalo on it.

Step 1: On your computer, open the Zalo software, then enter your phone number into the Phone number

field (Figure 1). Next, click on 'Log in without password' (Figure 2).

Step 2: A confirmation notification for login will be sent to Zalo on your phone, open the Zalo app on your phone and click on 'Zalo Security' (Figure 3). Then, click on 'Confirm login' (Figure 4) to successfully log into Zalo.

2. Log in to ZALO by scanning the QR code on your phone

Logging into Zalo by scanning a QR code doesn't require you to remember your password. Instead, you input your registered phone number and use a phone that's already logged into Zalo to scan the QR code.

Procedure:

Step 1: On your computer, open the Zalo software, click on 'Scan QR code' (Figure 1). Now, Zalo will display the QR code for you to scan (Figure 2).

Step 2: On your phone, launch Zalo, in the Messages section, look at the top right corner, click on the '+' icon (Figure 3). Then, click on 'Scan QR code' (Figure 4).

Simultaneously, your Zalo account on the computer will be automatically logged in, and you can start chatting, making voice calls with loved ones, and connecting with friends via Zalo on your computer right away.

3. Log in to Zalo on computer via Web browser

Logging into Zalo on Google Chrome, Coc Coc... brings you many benefits:
- No need to download Zalo software to your computer.
- Log in directly on Chrome, Coc Coc, Firefox web browsers.

This method of logging into Zalo on the Web also offers 3 login options like account login, QR code scanning, and login without a password, similar to logging into Zalo on the software.

Procedure:

Step 1: From the Google Chrome, CocCoc, or Firefox browser, proceed to HERE. 

Method 1: Log in to Zalo with an account

Step 2: In the Phone number and password fields, enter your phone number and password.

Step 3: To log in with your account, you click on 'Log in with password'.

Step 4: Zalo will require you to verify, you select images as requested by Zalo, then you click 'Verify'.

Step 5: Next, Zalo will ask you to choose 3 Zalo contacts. You click on each person.

Step 6: Then, you select 'Reply' to successfully log into Zalo.

Method 2: Log in to Zalo with QR code scan

Step 1: After accessing Zalo on the web, you click on 'With QR code' (Figure 1).

Step 2: At this point, Zalo on the browser will display the QR code for you to scan (Figure 2).

Step 3: On your phone, you open the Zalo app then you look at the bottom left corner and click on 'Messages' then look at the top right corner, click on the '+' icon (Figure 3). Then, you click on 'Scan QR code' (Figure 4). 

Step 4: You hold your phone up to the QR code on the computer (Figure 5). When Zalo displays a notification, you select 'Log in' and you're done (Figure 6).

Note: If the QR code expires, it will fade out, so you click on 'Get new code' then use your phone to scan the code again.

Method 3: Log in to Zalo without using a password

Step 1: After accessing Zalo on the web, in the Phone number field, you enter your phone number (Figure 1).

Step 2: You select 'Send login request' (Figure 2).

Step 3: Zalo will ask you to verify by selecting suitable images as requested then you click 'Verify' (Figure 3).

Step 4:  On your phone, you launch the app, look at the bottom left corner, select 'Messages' then choose 'Zalo - Login Confirmation' (Figure 4). After selecting, you click 'Confirm login' (Figure 5).

Step 5: You click 'Ok' and you're done (Figure 6).

II. How to log out of Zalo on computer

After you're done using it, if you're on a personal computer, you can close Zalo without needing to log out for the next time you open it, you can use Zalo right away without logging in. However, to enhance the security of your Zalo account, to prevent others from reading your messages, you should log out of Zalo.

Procedure:

Step 1: You're accessing Zalo software on your computer, you look at the bottom left corner and click on the gear icon (Settings).

Step 2: You click on the word 'Log out'.

Step 3: You can choose to Delete chat history or not, click Log out to exit your account.

Unlike other chat apps like Skype or Viber, Zalo users on PC need a touchscreen device to scan the QR code on the computer or use an activation code sent to their phone to log into their Zalo account. This is a limitation of Zalo compared to Skype or Viber.
