Despite the chilling cold covering Sa Pa (Lao Cai province), cherry blossoms continue to bloom, flaunting their vibrant pink hues. This is also a reason why thousands of tourists brave the cold mist to visit Sa Pa.
According to the locals' observations, cherry blossoms in Sa Pa this year are as stunning as in previous years. Strangely, as the weather gets colder, the blossom colors become even more vivid.
The cold air has affected Sa Pa in recent days, causing the temperature in the area to drop significantly, with dense fog. However, for over a week now, some cherry trees in the O Quy Ho, Ta Phin, Sa Pả,... areas have bloomed brilliantly. This is an interesting phenomenon that attracts the attention of many tourists.

Visitors to Sa Pa in the early days of the year not only get to admire the transparent snowflakes on the leaves but also indulge in the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms.
The cherry trees planted in Sa Pa are a precious batch among the 100 rare species gifted to Sa Pa district by the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association on its 100th anniversary in October 2003.

Sa Pa appears enchanting under the veil of mist, an ethereal beauty. Trees adorned with dew, the ancient Sa Pa church immersed in the chilly air, and the fields of vegetables, flowers, and wild grasses in Sa Pa remain vibrant and lush.
