The martial arts star of 'Hero of Martial Arts' reveals that the affection between him and his wife remains strong despite maintaining a non-sexual marriage.
During an interview with St Headline, Tiền Tiểu Hào disclosed that he and Khâu Thiến Minh have slept separately for the past decade. The 60-year-old actor stated that they choose to uphold a non-sexual marriage.
'We have different professions and schedules. We opted for a non-sexual marriage not because of health issues but to ensure we get adequate rest,' the actor told St Headline.
Tiền Tiểu Hào tied the knot with Khâu Thiến Minh in 2001, and they have a 21-year-old child. Prior to this, the actor from 'Mr. Vampire' was married to Quách Tú Văn and they share a child named Tiền Hạo Nhiên.
Born in 1963, Tiền Tiểu Hào rose to fame in the 1980s. According to Sina, he has been involved in over 100 films and television shows, in addition to his work as a martial arts choreographer.
The actor gained much recognition for his roles in 'Trương Tam Phong's Tai Chi' alongside Lý Liên Kiệt, Dương Tử Quỳnh, and later in 'Hero of Martial Arts' also with Lý Liên Kiệt. He is also known as the elder brother of Tiền Gia Lạc - a renowned TVB actor who starred in 'The Mighty Pillar of the Earth', 'Men in the Gangster World', 'Red Phoenix'...
In Vietnam, Tiền Tiểu Hào is well-known for his contributions to vampire-themed movies alongside Lâm Chánh Anh such as 'The Scholarly Vampire', 'Vampire Fighting Dracula', 'The Vampire King'... During the heyday of vampire films, Tiền Tiểu Hào was hailed as the 'box office king' of Hong Kong.
In recent years, he has also been involved in numerous vampire-themed films, albeit without the same allure as the 1990s.
In his over 30 years of acting, Tiền Tiểu Hào's biggest scandal involved secretly taking photos under the skirts of over 30 women. He confessed after specific evidence was found following his arrest by the police. The incident occurred in July 2020.
Upon appearing in court, Tiền Tiểu Hào was acquitted as the plaintiff did not attend. However, he was still fined and placed under supervision for two years.
