SharePlay is a new feature that allows users to play and share music, movies, and TV shows with friends via FaceTime. Features like video chatting, screen sharing, and even content streaming in groups can all be done through SharePlay. Apple has confirmed that this feature will not be included in the official release of iOS 15 when it rolls out later this fall.
iOS 15 does not include the SharePlay mode.
Earlier, Apple informed developers that SharePlay would be disabled in the next beta releases of iOS 15, iPadOS15, tvOS 15, and macOS Monterey. Apple mentioned that the SharePlay feature will return in future developer beta releases and will be publicly released in software updates later this fall. The company stated, 'We are delighted with the enthusiastic reception we have seen from the developer community for SharePlay, and we are eager to bring it to users so they can experience apps with their friends and family in an entirely new way.'

Apple has retained some promised features from previous major iOS releases until they are refined and ready to go, such as Group FaceTime, which was postponed from the initial release of iOS 12 in 2018 until a minor update was rolled out in late October of the same year. Therefore, SharePlay might appear in iOS 15.1 or iOS 15.2 updates. Apple currently does not provide any additional details about the reason for the delay.
