Tech platform 9to5mac has just shared rumors about the new MacBook Pro running on the Apple M2 chip. This promises to be the successor to the M1-equipped MacBook Pro released in November 2020.
Analyst Mark Gurman has his own expectations for the upcoming MacBook Pro:
'I hope this new MacBook Pro will match up with the high-end MacBook Pro by eliminating the Touch Bar. However, the main differences will be in the display, processor, lower memory capacity, and the absence of ProMotion and miniLED technology. The MacBook Pro is among several Mac machines equipped with the M2 chip, including refreshed versions for the 24-inch iMac, entry-level Mac mini, and refurbished MacBook Air.'

Apple is nearing the end of its two-year transition from Intel chips to in-house silicon, with plans to unveil a range of new Mac machines in 2022.
