Expect the Galaxy S24 Ultra to come with a brand new titanium frame.Renowned leaker Ice Universe recently shared a periodic table of chemical elements and a series of tweets numbered '22'. By counting the numbers, 22 corresponds to the element titanium, suggesting the exclusive debut of a new titanium frame for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Prior reports also suggest a shift to titanium material for the upcoming 15 Pro set to launch this fall.
Galaxy S23 UltraTitanium is known to be a superior material to steel, being harder, lighter, and more scratch-resistant. This alone could significantly enhance the appeal of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, as there are very few devices on the market with titanium frames.
However, this material comes at a considerable cost, so Samsung seems to only use it on the highest-end Galaxy S24 Ultra model. While the Galaxy S24 and
S24 Plusare likely to still feature aluminum frames when they debut early next year.
