Although the image and video quality of the new Z Flip generation surpasses that of the Galaxy Z Flip4, it's not a major improvement. However, that might change next year with the arrival of the Galaxy Z Flip5.
The Galaxy Z Flip6 is set to receive significant camera upgradesAccording to GalaxyClub, the Galaxy Z Flip6 is currently undergoing testing at Samsung and its prototypes feature a primary 50MP camera. This marks a significant improvement over the 12MP primary camera of the Galaxy Z Flip5. The Galaxy Z Flip6 prototype is codenamed B6 (the Galaxy Z Flip 5 codename is B5), while the Galaxy Z Fold6 is codenamed Q6. While we currently lack detailed information about this new 50MP camera, it could be the sensor used inside.
Furthermore, it remains to be seen whether Samsung will enhance the Z Flip6's ultra-wide and selfie cameras. It would be reasonable for Samsung to upgrade this selfie camera to a 12MP sensor, similar to the Galaxy S23 series.
Additionally, Samsung may unveil the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor by the end of next year. Let's wait and see!
