Before the official launch, some leaked details about the successors to the Pixel 7 phones have been circulating online. An interesting aspect from these leaks is that the Pixel 8 series might enable users to reply to notifications using their voice.

According to Mishaal Rahman, when message notifications arrive on the Pixel 8 series phones, you'll be able to instruct the phone to send a reply through Google Assistant. For example: 'Hey Google, Reply.' This action will activate the message reply command and use your voice to compose and send the message. You can draft and send the message to the recipient by speaking their name. This feature is useful as it eliminates the need to touch the phone, helping you avoid the inconvenience of unlocking the phone and typing to reply.
Rahman also mentioned that it's uncertain whether this feature will be available at the initial phone launch or not. However, it may be introduced later in an update for the Google Pixel phones.
Among related news, the Google Pixel 8 is also expected to come with a new feature called Magic Audio Eraser, allowing you to remove unwanted surrounding noise from recorded video clips.
