I pondered upon that matter for long, with a tinge of melancholy. Would a kind-hearted man who truly loves you allow you to be hurt? Would he willingly offend the woman he loves? Or does he believe that engaging in infidelity 8 times wouldn't harm his wife, only... signing divorce papers would truly make her devastated?
And more importantly, would a man who belittles other women (disparages mistresses, denigrates prostitutes...) respect you? Or are you the exception? Another perspective, if you're not a wife, you're just a long-time mistress, and despite loving you to death, that other lover begs you to give him time, to... continue living with his wife, because they have children, dignity, family, status, and a career.
